What a bunch of knee-jerk wussies! Didn't this same mystery just happen about a year ago? Once in a while the wind blows in an uncommon direction. There are refineries and chemical plants across the river. When I grew up in north Jersey in the 70's, the smells along Rt. 17 in Carlstadt, Rutherford, etc would make a current resident file a lawsuit.
