Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Mystery oil leak

Hey guys, I have this slight oil leak going on under my truck. It's not enough to show a drop in oil level but more like a mist type leak. It builds up considerably on the oil pan, on my steering stabilizers and all the way along the trans and even started a trail towards the rear of the truck. I clean the area about once a week and I've watched closely the steering pump/vacuum pump and have seals ready if I start to see a leak. It has been clean for weeks now so I don't think it's coming from there. There is a gunky build up mostly around the front of the oil pan and bottom half of the gear case cover. I just can't seem to pin point it, it's just more of an annoyance than anything. Any ideas???

Front crank seal is my best guess without actually seeing it.

Possibly pan gasket.

Get everything clean then spray the suspect area down with aerosol athlete's foot powder, drive for a day. The oil trail in the powder will lead to the leak.
