I have a 94 with the 47rh trans. I have a switch wired in line wth the wire from the PCM to transmission ( orange/ blk tracer) . Grounding this wire locks TC provided the TC was already in that state. This much works as planned.
Now it would seem that if this circuit is in an "open" state, that is not grounded nor connected to the PCM, then the TC should not operate at all.
This would allow for OD without lockup TC. It is not worlking like that at all. In an "OPen" state, the trans shifts normal.
Why?
