Looking to start up a B. O. M. B. er club for the N. J. area? Contact me if your interested. Like to Race-Modify-Detail-Maintain- your CTD? So do we! Its about time for N. J. to represent ! Get on board now!! Oo.
Sign me up I always like to meet other fellow bombers maybe we could get Englishtown to join the DHRA next year. I feel lost as the 2004 Division one champ with no track close to home to play on for points. :{ It would be nice to see more guys or gals out at the track blowing the rice off the track. Stoping the heart beat or the hoof beat which ever its all ways fun to clean the clock of a stang or one of them Z71 chevy toy trucks .
Ok I will ask since none of the other from either chapter will...
With 2 of the greatest Chapters of the TDR,NETDP(New England Turbo Diesel Power) & Mason-Dixon TDC(Turbo Diesel Club)a short drive away and many activities planned by them during the summer, why slip a chapter in between them?. Just Curious... ... ... Andy
I can't speak for everyone else, but with my schedule driving that far won't be easy for me. I have a full competition schedule and will be traveling alot this year. So a meeting close to home would be great for me. I wish I could make one of the events they look like alot of fun.
12 states in this division. Only plan events in the summer . I am not tryin to take any members from 2 of the largest Chapters but if you look at the response this thread has been getting from N. J. membership it is obvious, N. J. wants a B. O. M. B. er Club. Oo.
I can't speak for any other member- but I personally went to the Annual Diesel Nationals held in September @ Old Bridge Twp. Raceway Park this past year-2004- and counting myself I seen 3 members :--) Where was everybody? I was very disappointed. Also I never hear of any type of activity that is happening in my area. Like you said 2 of the biggest Chapters well where are ya? With 12 states in this Chapter that is alot of ground to cover. Here in N. J. I know there are alot of people interested in their trucks and they like to work on em,race em, modify em, get together with other people with the same interests, We also have 3 race tracks spread out the state. Raceway Park-Island Dragway- & Atco Raceway. I know when I go to Island Dragway, in Great Meadows, I am the only one there runnin my truck. People are surprised to see a big ole diesel duallie racin. I just want to see more N. J. members who feel left out of any activity because of travel. why travel when we have some of the best state parks- some of the best race tracks and hey some of the best damned people to begin with right here in N. J. Again I am not trying to take away anything from any of the T. D. R. Chapters, I just would like to see something more local. So I hope the way I feel is the same for other New Jersey residents. We have alot to offer here . So if your a resident of N. j. and are interested in joining the N. J. B. O. M. B. ers drop me a pm we already have a dozen interested members. And I hope for more. COME ON N. J. Where iseverybody? Oo.
