Just saying hello to TDR. i have been lurking for a while. i picked up a 04. 5 3500 SRW short box 2wd SLT to pull my 74 Blazer around. i boutght it a couple months ago and had put 6k miles on it before i deployed tio Iraq. i should be back ni a few months. Stationed in Camp Pendleton CA and from Oregon. 24 years old, divorced, no kids just trucks...

Enjoy the Corps. Might not seem very good now, but when you get out, it's like leaving you mom and dad at home. You will miss it. I retired in 95 and miss it allot. One thing for sure, if your head was not screwed on straight before, it is now for your priorities. Get all the school you can and put some of that tax free into a ROTH IRA so you can keep it tax free. Find some property to buy now and get it paid off before you get out. Prices keep going up and your not getting any younger.
