Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Name that tool

I installed a pre EZ comp and started to remove the cover on my VP-44 and found the screws with the unusual head. I thought I had every tool ever made. Not! It looks like a Torex (secure) but only has five flutes verses six. What is the tool and where can I purchase one?

it's called a Torex Plus... Snap On doesn't have them unless they just recently got them...

Mac tool or Matco [don't remember which one I saw them in the catalog] has them... also you can Call Piers I believe he has them also. .

BTW it's a bit. . haven't sen them in driver fassion yet... if you can not find one e-mail me and I'll lend you mine... do you have a bit holder [screw driver handle that accepts 1/4" bit]

Excuse me, but if it has five instead of six flutes wouldn't it be a Torex Minus???

It is called a "25 torx Plus Secure" It cost more to ship than it cost. I think that is why they call it a plus.
