I had the battery box out of the drivers side today. Fastened to the inner fender was a wiring harness plug. It is blocked off with a connector. There is about 8 or 10 slots in it. Can any one name it for me??? TIA tgb

I know on my 94 the cruise control has some stuff there,(added it) but I don't know about newer trucks. Got cruise?

Could it be for daytime running lights (that they offer elsewhere)? Or maybe something for the snowplow prep group (like lights and turnsignals)?

Daytime running light plug is usually on the left inner fender below master cylinder, and the plow prep doesn't add anything for lights or connectors. It probably is cruise,as I believe some of the newer trucks (manual trans only)use the ECM for cruise instead of the vacuum servo under the drivers battery tray, like the auto,so the connector would be left unused.
