name under our handle...?

Why is our last name now under our handle when we post? Like where mine says Bell??

hmmm I would appreciate it if my last name was removed also.

I think this is because of the server reboot.

Last June, with the VBulletin upgrade they're were a few nasty comments regarding the placements of last names under the handles. ( :-{} ) Admin then shut this feature off.

With the reboot it probably reverted back to this setting.



Admin will probably shut it off soon. (Due to :-{} and #@$%! )

When the new version of vBulletin was installed a lot of the settings were changed. That's one that we hadn't noticed. I'm sure there will be other things like this that will come up. Just let us know about it and we'll get on it as soon as possible. You should be aware if you aren't already that your last name is listed on your profile page as it has for a long time. That can only be viewed by members. The last names were put under your handle in the posts originally to try remove some of the anonymity of using handles. Originally the plan was that handles were going to be eliminated and everyone would have to post under their real name. As a compromise the last name is only listed on the profile page now.

How do I change my handle? I was assigned mreiter and I don't see anywhere in the 'edit profile' section to change it.
