Ok guys... wildman wilson aka: nascar mark has not only pulled his 1st Gen motor and put in a converted 24v -12v p-pumped engine, but he ALSO put in a second gen lock-up transmission... SO...

oh ya... he's usin twins now too so that kinda compounds the infraction. .

But, there ARE others using twins with a VE, so that cant be held against him per se. But, since it is a P-pump, and a lockup TC? Blasphemy, I say. Not sure there is a penance strong enough for him this time.

The 24v block is a bit of an infraction, but the rest sounds pretty cool! He should be able to stay (hat on backwards) at least until we see the horsepower figures!!! We want to see the big numbers, Mark!!!

When he starts kicking some serious butt, he doesn't have to open the hood and show 'em. Unless they are in the know, they will just think it is a first gen truck! I think this is going to be cool when he can kick just about any other diesel out there on the road any time he wants. Of course it won't be long before word is out about the old black first gen and to watch out for it.

Guys, I can appreciate what he's done, really I can. We tractor pullers do the same thing... ... ... and thus we classify them differently as to the modifications received.

ie Farm Stock,SuperFarm Stock,Pro Stock, Super Stock... then those modified guys who run four or five engines... ... ... .



Anyways,IMHO, it's gotta have a VE.
