Hey guys, were building a 97 P-pump motor for my truck, so just to let you you know that I am selling my 1st gen engine. It will be in long block running config. With the PDR cam, stock turbo, POD's etc, I want $3000. 00us and will have it delieved for that price unless its too farther south or east which will be alittle more. The engine has less than 115,000 miles on it and will have a different but good injection pump on it. Sorry the race injector pump isn't for sale. ;)

:--) Look out guys, we're talking about some SERIOUS HP in the works... . :D

Sounds like a great deal for someone who needs an engine. :D

What I'm really interested in here, Mark, is how your transmission is going to handle the juice that the p-pump can deliver. especially if you go for the famous "stoopid" pump setup. Anyway, I've had the p-pump idea in my head for a few years too. But I've held off mainly because of not wanting to grenade my transmission. Once again, you're taking on a project that I'm sure many of us have thought about at one time or another. We will surely benefit from your experiences. (you're gonna share, right? )Good luck!

Cheers,

Sean

I don't think he will have any problems...

I'm aware of the transmission mods thus far. What I was getting at is isn't the end all to durability problems. 500hp could easily be made with the p-pump and some further attention may need to be paid to the trans. (of course, I could be mistaken) I tossed that question out there because I'm thinking of possibly doing the same type of conversion.

Thanks and yes, Just a nother project Piers and I are working on too. Work things out for you guys just incase some of you want way more power. :D

As far as the transmission goes, it was built to handle 500hp which was in the plan from day one when Bill built the transmission. I most likely will be going to a 93r tc to handle our power plans. :p

The engine will available sometime in jan if things go smoothly.

Mark, Bushwk'er and I were talking the other night and he thought you should change your monicker to Wild Man Racing:D maybe we should have a poll on this thoughtOo. Bill

You just have to keep the race pump, I see, yeah, give us part of the picture and keep the the most important part to yourself. I bet you are even thinking about painting your truck Flat black so it won't get picked up on radar. You race guys are sneaky.

Good luck with the transplant and post those numbers as soon as you get them.

P. S. Is it "Sheep" because your truck looks like a "sleeper"??

Hey guys, Just to let you know my power is way up and so is fuel milage. Made it to Monroe and back by using 1/2 the fuel I would normally use and I was able to stay right on Piers a$$ without him gaining a inch on me even when he switched out of valet mode and in power mode. :D He wasn't happy to see this but did say we will have to correct this.

Before you say how could this be first let me say the engine is not for sale at this time due to Piers having to trailer me back home due to a noise in the engine that happened 1 mile from DDP dyno day in Monroe. I changed out the the injection pump thanks to the use of a gear puller lent by Lenny at DDP but the sound was still there and until we find out what the cause is and fix it the engine is put on hold.
