Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Got there the saturday before the race weekend (8 days in advance) to park the trailer and get a good spot. Well, it had rained, so they were not letting anyone into the campgrounds. I was told they would open up monday at 3pm. Dropped the trailer and went home.
So, drove back up there on monday (I figured I would just stay the whole week, all my buddies were coming up wednesday morning). They started letting us in. I was 4th in line for this camping area, and the attendant/guard told me to follow the "dead grass", because they had laid gravel out there the year before and recently had sprayed the gravel paths with round-up so you would know where the paths were. Well, the first 3 guys took spots near the entrance, but I wanted a spot at the far end, so I started following the "path". Well, I guess I was going to slow for some people, because after 6 or 7 more came in behind me (there were probably 45-60 in line), it turned into the "Oklahoma Land Rush". Everbody ignored the the paths and just made bee-lines for the spot they wanted. Well, patience was a virtue on this day because anybody who strayed from the path slowed and stopped rather quickly
After unhooking the trailer, I went back with my chain and along with 2 other cummins 4x4's, a chevy dually 4x4, and a couple powerstrokes, began the extrication process. My total was 1 minivan, 1 f350 2wd (towing a triple axle king of the road. . this guy didn't have a chance in the wet stuff), 1 medium size motorhome, and 1 larger motorhome. 3 out of the 4 even brought me beer the next day
All in all it was a good time... I could have tripled my tally after the race was over monday, but by then I was ready to get back home, so I thought I'd leave some for the wreckers... . hehehe
