Any Gravely experts?

Natural Selection is the reason that all but 1 of these people died and even that one is questionable. Going over protective railings and swimming above waterfalls, going hiking in flip flops in a thunder, lightning storm on slick granite/crossing a suspension bridge that is half covered from the water below/becoming a lightning rod on half dome. And now the NPS is trying to stop the Gov. from closing some of the trails to the public. Yosemite deaths highest in recent memory - latimes.com

Whatever happened to the medical examiner's old C. O. D: death by misadventure? Has personal responsibility reached such a nadir that if no one else can be faulted for one's death or injury, then everyone is to be punished? Or is it just an extension of court rulings that no single person can be arrested (stopped, prevented from continuing one's business) without warrant or cause, but it is legal and constitutional to arrest everyone without warrant or cause?

We see backpackers almost every day going into the Bob and wonder if they are going to comeback on their own power or Med Evac or slumped over a horse. We have been hauling supplies to my BIL hunting camp getting ready for the season. We see them on the trail and ask if everything is ok. Most have no problems but there are some that have no business in the woods. The comments range any thing from how much further/didnt think it was this steep/where's the water/dont have any idea of how to read a TOPO map. They rely on a gps. Not that its bad but what IF comes to mind NO BACK UP. My BIL has a GPS I dont like them just map an compass with some orienteering skills I guess being an Eagle Scout did some good after all.

Further proof of Darwin's Theory of Evolution at work, Fools are quickly removed from the gene pool, we're all the better for it!

Well that's one heck of away to thin the herd. The thing that bothers me is that the Gov. has that much control of us and how we use what is ours.
