Hey guys, I just installed an RB1 navigation radio in my 2004. The unit went it easily and works perfectly. ... . however, the disc I got with the unit is a 05064033AC it has amazing coverage of the united states, but very limited coverage of Canada. I know there is an updated disc available, the 05064033AE, and another scheduled for release later this month. I am wondering if the Canadian coverage is improved at all with these updated discs. I live in southern alberta and the software i have now only works in some metroplitan areas.

I am looking for coverage comparable to the garmin units, (ex. Garmin nuvi 350)

Thanks

I assume you asked a Dodge dealer if they have a "Canada-specific" software?

Call Alpine or Pacparts.com they will have the newest Disks for the RB1, and should be able to tell you what the maps cover.

I called navteq, they provided the the software and updates for chrysler. All they could tell me was that the updated discs covered all of the USA and Canada.

Thats true... but she couldn't tell me how detailed the coverage is.
