ND/MN/SD Get Together and Dyno Day

Mike is again providing a discount on the dyno runs for this event with a cost of $40. This is on a in-floor DynoJet rated for 1500 hp and 1500 tq. Mike has lots of experience running diesel pickups of all makes on his dyno.



This is the 6th annual... . man how time flies. The crowd and dyno runs grow every year. We had two trucks over 600 hp last year... what will this year bring? With the large number of Dyno runs last year we will try to be more organized to keep things moving.



Mike also has his engine dyno up and running. There is a good chance it will be demo also.



We will put together some food to get you home. In the past, we get going around Noon and go until the last truck runs the dyno.

Thanks for the update Jerry. Did he say anything about a test and tune day? I was up there to pick up some parts about a month ago and he didn't have a day set for the dyno day yet, but he was wanting to do a 2 day test and tune and have his new sled pulling track beside his shop,and sled set up for this.



I'll be there.





By the way. I have a Smarty for second gen 24valve that I will bring along if anyone wants to give it a try. It can add a bit more fun to the day for some if anyone is interested.

Thats it. On his web site he has a plan for June for this. When I talked to Mike a couple months ago he had mentioned having this test and tune having the sled and track set up for it. Oo.



Full Pull inc's sled pulls to easy for me . I will have to give The red river valley pullers associations sled a tug or two to feel it out.



Back to the dyno day. Can't wait to see my new #'s with all my new goodies. Oo.

Touristy? Not so much. I'm not sure if there is even a liquor store in "town" where Mikes is. Fargo, I'm sure you can find stuff to do.

Off season .....

Things get pretty quite in the winter in Northwood. If you are looking for something to do, stop off in Fargo or run up to Grand Forks. You could check if UND hockey (Grand Forks) are playing at home that Friday PM. The Engstad arena is one of the fanciest hockey arenas in the nation. Worth going to just see the facility.



While I love the moisture (fish like water) I hope we get a weather break during the weekend. It has been very nasty the last few weeks. Not something you would want to be on the road for.

Dave and I are going to run together,up there if he gets the day off. Is there anyone else from the Bismarck area that wants to convoy up with us? Pm me and we can set a time and place to meet. We met at the Oasis truck stop for breakfast last year,we could do the same again.

Hey, Couple buddies and I are heading up hopefully with his truck if we get the headgasket fixed this weekend and maybe install his Fass. He's been waiting for a while to dyno it and it sprung a bad oil leak out the front of the head. But it should be running by then and may also drive mine up. So if anyone is traveling up 94 pass St. cloud and wants to convoy up saturday morning let us know. Can't wait.
