I was talking to a machinist who also builds drive-shafts and he said this joint interchanges with the Precision 351. His comment was this was a vastly superior joint. Solid cross with permanent lube. He does some sled pulling and says they are lucky to get a pull or two out of the zerked type joints but he can run a whole season on this one. Much better seals, no maintenance and greatly increased life. I think this is referred to as a 1480 series type u-joint.
Anybody tried it in a 3rd gen six-speed?
