I have wondered how many owners have done something unique to their truck that turned out really good. I remember something recently about a roll of tape on the ratteling fwd shifter. This sort of thing.

I would submit the following idea.

I have the extended cab on all my trucks and there is a bit of a blind spot on my right side where little ricers like to run. Couple of times I have squeezed one of them enough to scare the H out of them and me. We have a new grand kid and the wife got a stick on "baby viewer mirror". I stuck the thing up beside the center mirror and positioned it to reflect that blind spot. The mirror quality is not quite what I would like but it works right well.

When converting my truck over to st pipe I inadvertanly angled my ex. pipe (behind rr tire) slightly upward and have noticed when I have someone in that lane next to me who has loud rap music going with the MF this and the MF that and my kid is in the truck with me I have a tendancy to make haste with the unfortunate & irresponsible side effect of filling their car with soot, so sorry.

Don't ya just love it when the ricers do this. I think they would be going deaf from all that loud S**T.

One thing tho, they can't miss the smoke comin' at 'em:D

Sometimes I think they are out to offend people as "in your face" as they can and just dare you to do something about it. Wouldn't be worth the effort I guess.....

On the subject of this thread, I've posted this picture of my truck previously, but one of the neatest things I've done to it since I've owned it is adding the chrome/styled Ramcharger rear bumper. It was a snap and I only added two holes in the frame in order to bolt it on. The appearance of the truck now is a little more 'style' and a little less 'utility'. That of course is compared to the step bumper I replaced.

Is that somethin out of a space ship???

When a ricer gets alongside me, I keep my eyes straight ahead and "accidentally" drift across the line for a few seconds. Funny how fast they can clear out of my "blind spot!" Works even better with my ol' 90 rustbucket.

Neat Ideas....

I was tired of lifting my hood every morning, to plug or unplug the block heater, so I found a really neat "Flip-lid", recessed plug from Hubbell. Put an approx 2" hole in the bumper and bolted it in. Then heatshrunk about 6 inches of the cable and slipped the wire through the rubber jacket and wired it up. Works great. Great quality from Hubbell (It's actually a marine part). Now I can flip the lid, plug it in! I can send pics and a Part # if anyone is interested.
