Whats door wax?

Its an older term used for stick wax. When I was a boat builder building aluminum boats we used allot of this stuff. This is a semi-solid not a liquid.

Here is a link for a castrol product.

I use electric die grinders frequently at work with burr bits and flapper wheels. As far as the best one, I like the DeWalt better, but only because it has a paddle switch. All the small Milwaukee's I've used have a tiny toggle switch that takes a minute to find when it's spinning 10,000rpm on the floor. As far as durability, I don't think you could wear any brand out with a lifetime of just home use.

The Makita has a nice pointed end and gets in tight places. I broke the plastic body down at the collet end when a cutting disk hung up. Then again, I'm a fireman so I can break anything... :D

YUP - sounds like mine - I've used the air driven ones when porting Chevy small block heads - the air ones are lighter and probably more maneuverable in tighter spots, but I sure love the convenience of the electric - always ready to go at the flip of the switch, and no waiting for the compressor to get back up to PSI...

Does anyone know where you can buy the kind that the motor hangs from a hook and has a long flex shaft? Kind of like the flex shaft kits they make for the dremel. I have seen them in the past, but I can't find one to save my life. I would think that they would work the best for port work.
