Replacing front bumper

Hello to all

I need some help. I had a young lady pull out in front of me and i am sure that she felt all 7000 plus LBS plow into her. Her and I are ok, I am glad I was slowing down to turn onto a side street when she pulled in front of me, my speed was maybe 15/20 MPH.

My poor truck needs new fenders, hood, bumber and other things.

As per my sig I have the 2500 Sport model. I installed the Dodge Brush/guard on my truck. The perfomance on said brush guard was not very good, in the words of the body shop man he said " This is a brush guard not a cavaravan guard"

To make a long story short, I NEED A STRONG, GOOD LOOKING BUMBER/BRUSH GUARD for my truck.

I have till the end of the week or the first of next week to come up with something or the stock stuff will go back on to.

Thanks in advance.

See Ya

Chris

Sorry to hear about your accident!

This is about the toughest bumper around for a

front bumper:

http://dodgeram.org/ki4cy/bumper/frontbumper.htm

It is big, heavy and very strong. From the sound

of your hit you probably would not have had very

much damage if any with this one.

I saw to the pictures of a 65MPH head on with a

toyota. The RAM did not have any windows broken.

The toyota they cut 2 people from and they spent

months recovering.

Also consider the following change if you get

this bumper:

Road Armor make a lighter weigth version out of

Aluminium. It will not be as strong as the

Ruenel but you may not need new springs to carry

it.

Chris,

I helped a buddy last week remove his ruenell and we installed the RoadArmor. it's sweet and wieghs about half of what the reunell wieghs "IT IS NOT ALUMINUM" it is steel and is very strong.

Sorry, when I had read RoadArmors web site the last time it stated that the plate was Aluminium. If that is no longer the case, sorry for any mis-information.

I had something similar happen. I had a Ranch Hand put on.

Not cheap, but people think twice about pulling in front of me

and I know I will hurt them worse than they will me.

Thanks folks,

I am thinking of going with the one from Denver offroad.

Any one have any more pictures of this bumper system??

Thanks again.

See Ya

Chris

Take a look at Prozap. I have one and love it! Use it to help turn the Dodge on Jeep runs:)

BTW I just installed a set of Road Armor rocker guards. I can jack my truck up by them and they only deflect 1/8". Pretty good considering my truck weights 7,400 #'s.

If ya want pictures email me. -- email address removed --

Wanna play with the new digital camera:)
