Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Need a good mechanic Oregon

Need a recommendation for a reliable mechanic, preferable one that will work with an extended warrant? I’m looking for a mechanic preferable in Beaverton, Tigard, Tualatin area but Portland and surrounding area ok.



Symptoms – Transmission is acting up and two-transmission shop does not believe it is the transmission, but some other component of the truck. They recommend going to the *******, however I prefer someone else.



· Double apply in drive

· 1-2 double apply

· 2-3 soft shift

· Range of other speratic issues such as high temp, surges at low speed……. .



I appreciate anything you may have for me.

That guy has takes so much of my money and all I've gotten out of him is more than I ask and a really fast truck. Can't argue with that I guess Hmm..... needing a clutch, guess I had better call him again... .
