A Full Size Diesel-Powered SUV from DC???

What is the tq ft lb for the fuel injector retaining clips. my manual doesnt have it unless ive over looked it. It only has one for the 12 valve which is 44 ft lb and that seems like it is too much.

ya know I just helped (more like watched) toolman do his last night and I cant remember the exact # but it was something like 85 In-lbs
 
Thats about 7 ft lb isnt it?



I dont have an in. lb. torq wrench thats why i need the ft lb

using my big half in. torq wrench, it is one PITA listing and feeling for the little click



Ill try to find an in lb wrench when i get it running and have to retorq everything.

The one i barrowed does i guess. It starts at 30 but if you bottom it all the way out. the 30 mark is right at three turns from the bottom :confused:



Found dads in lb last night so ill use it and recheck then ill know for sure. Course as long as it been hidden under all the stuff in his garage its more than likely it out of calibration but shouldnt be to much, i found it still on 0 so hopefully its close.
