I didn't have much luck looking for one in the upper midwest. The best I could find was around $300 shipped. Since I couldn't find one, I was looking into air ride seats... they are around $400... but at the time they had not been approved by the DOT... . so they were not on sale yet. That was about a year ago now. I would think by now they have them out. The other thing I recall was a TDR member, and magazine article that showed a member installing a low profile air ride seat from a big rig. That may not be a bad idea!

Is your seat broken? There's a good thread or two and a TDR article about re-foaming the stock seat. You might want to check a local auto upholstery shop for refurbish or repair.

Foam is shot, one motor isn't working, the wiring harness is cut, the reclining mechanism is busted, and the bezel the controls mount to is all busted up. Looks terrible and isn't too comfy. I'm going to try to patch the harness and see if the motor will work at least. After that, I have a guy in town who can do the upholstry and maybe fix the recliner. New ones are $$$$$$$.
