My backup lights don't work. I popped the connector off and jumped the two pins and the lights came on. I ALMOST ordered a switch, but instead pulled it off and did a continuity check and it works. So I cut the connector off to have a good look at the pins and one is bad so it isn't making good contact with the switch female fitting. The local pick & pull only has hulks that had autos in them. I have a homemade backup light mounted under the rear fender hooked to a toggle switch but I would like the stock lights to work correctly also. Anyone have a source?

you can get it at carquest is listed as a gm pigtail i dont remember the part number but it was about $20-$25 and is the switch is bad you can get that at carquest too it is a ls202 for about $12-$15

I think this might be my problem as well. I thought it was the shifter fork not pushing hard enough on the switch to turn on the lights. When I jumped the pins the lights came on - I have a brand new switch that has been tested. I guess I will now check the connector.

Thanks
