I need just the outer piece of the a/c clutch-You can't buy just it. You have to buy a complete clutch for about 150-200 It anyone has a junk compressor that has one on it I would like to buy it from you. I checked one from a '95 and they were different. Mine is a 1999 24V.

Thanks!!

Question?

Are you referring to the clutch shoe? It is the piece that actually splines the compressor shaft and turns it when the electro-magnet is on. If it is then check NAPA we have them listed under clutch components. Not sure what years though, I am at home! Might help! Jeremy.

Yes that is what I am needing! Around here the closest NAPA is about 40 miles. We have a blo'reileys and they can't get it. If you can find a part number for it maybe I can get them to order it. Thanks for your help!!

Hopefully

Tomorrow I will be at the Fire House for 24 hours but I will call my buddy I work with at Napa and see if we can get you a part#! I just went through this on my 98 12 valve and I do know their are two different clutch shoes. One is splined and one is keyed. The Keyed one is easy to get but the splined one is almost impossible through Napa. I also will get a phone number for a re-builder in Houston, if they will sell you the shoe it will be cheap! I bought a rebuilt clutch with the shoe, magnet, and hub for a third of what the dealer wanted! I think it was less than $100. 00! I will post tomorrow when I can. Jeremy.

My 95 has a key. .

Why not change out the entire clutch so the face will burnish properly with the pulley. Mr. Murphy might decide to take the clutch coil next. . :(

It is my opinion that the springs get broken from the "kick-back"/compression during engine shutdown and fan clutch engagement.

I should be able to get just the "face" from Sanden should you want to go that route.

Send me a PM or give a call. 972-398-3934.
