I feel as if I'm running blind without at least a EGT. Are the Combo Boost/EGT easy to read by a 65 year old who is farsighted! Can you get confused temoprarily as to which side is which? Would a single guage each be easier to read and keep tabs on? Can't tell by pictures but some of the combos look small. I need the pros and cons as I pretty well stick with what I purchase the first time due to $$. Thanks in advance! I have read threads on the different makes but still dont have a feel how readable in dalylight and dark. In dash looks neater but looks like A pillar is easier to keep an eye on.

The help you for size the combo gauge fits in the cubby hole in your dash. It isn't the easiest to read I find myself taking double take all the time. I haven't had one problem with them to date other than the boost stops at 34 PSI, which I can barry with my presant set up.

On second thought, if this is a bifocal issue, the digital gauge might be a problem. I imagine you have to spend a moment more pulling your focus from the road to the gauge so that you brain can digest the info. With an analog you probably don't have to totally focus before your brain gets the idea what is going on..... food for thought.

An upside to the digital gauge I am looking at is it's ability to serve a second role which would be to drive a turbo cooldown circuit.

New guy question?

Which combo gauge are you talking about? My truck is stock and likely to remain unBombed but the more I learn, the more I think EGT is important for routine monitoring. Boost is not a big concern. I like idea of sticking a gauge in the useless cubbyhole.

Thanks
Jonathan
