The shocks on my 2003 3/4 ton are shot after just 36,000 miles. I don't remember wearing out shocks so quickly on other rigs I've owned. Driving on our local washboard, curvy roads has become pretty scarey. I just started a job that will have me traveling the back roads of Wyoming quuite a bit and I need to upgrade tires/shocks and, I think, springs.

I'm thinking about either the Kore HD leveling kit or the Recon. This is about the only system I've read much about on TDR. I won't haul or tow much weight generally. I have a Buckstop bumper on the front and have, on occasion, bottomed out the front suspension on our crappy roads. The two Kore systems mentioned above would be the only ones in my price range.

I haven't been on TDR for awhile because "dry eye syndrome" has pretty much kept me from staring at a computer screen and doing a thorough search on the subject. I'm hoping you guys will post anything that will help me get up to speed on options and save a little wear and tear on my eyeballs.

Thanks,

Bob

I think a KORE Recon would be the right choice for you. It will eat up the washboards and will be easier on the rest of your truck. I would reccomend a steering stabilizer to go with that system.
