need advise on changing a bed-cover color

I've been sorta searching for a hard tonneau cover for the 97 for a few months, and I found one for a pretty good price. Only problem is its bright red and my truck is white/ silver. If I can get it for cheap enough I can make it work, but I've been trying to come up with a low buck solution for changing the color. I've been thinking about the brush on bed liner, but I'm not sure how it would stick to fiberglass. Anyone have a better idea. Local body shops want 200-250 to paint it.
