need biodiesel book advice for gift....

Hi all, Happy Holidays! I have an uncle who is business savvy and wants to research Biodiesel. I want to give him a book that covers all aspects espececially the legal concerns.

Any help or reccomendations selecting a book would be appreciated.

I'm posting for info also , but have bought read a number of books [ being that they were books , I do not have links ] I have not found any that have as broad approach as what your looking for to far , and like any subject , each one has there own perspective , so what your looking may require multiple books , one of the 1st guys in recent times in the US that I have found , with 2-3 books , his last name is Trickel , I think , the 1st book was about him finding out about bio & then using & going around the country to show anyone that would listen , also making [ starting the latest interest ] then his last book was more about the politics & how the industry is motivated [ national bio diesel board = supporting farmers & soy beans { because thats what they are already invested in , instead of whats the best oil source }] .
Then if someone has very technical interests , then checking out the university studies .

I thought I was leaving something out-- Definetly not soy tech, only reclaiming oil. He has an oil resource, friends in the food business.

Now I'm confused , you asked about bio-diesel , all those were about bio-diesel , the Trickel guy , I think his 1st book was , From the frying pan to the fuel tank .
Bio diesel come from almost any oil vegi & animal that is out there , but the volume is from new vegi oil & thats mostly soy bean because of , special interests - commercial , then the book Trickel he is about processing waste vegi oil for individuals making at home .

I'm confused too . I thought there were two schools of thought. Using raw (new?) material like soybeans and such, and renewing cooking oils regardless of what type of oil it is. So I guess I'm looking for processing waste oil, like from the deep fryer. Looks like I'm getting an education myself!

The 2 schools are , bio-diesel processing to remove glycerins .
And those that are not processing the glycerins out , WVO =waste vegi oil , some are mixing other fuels and or chemicals , from many studies & shops doing work on the engines , I would not recommend using any of the WVO systems , this is a big believe or not issue , some are able for many reasons to get away with it for some time , like putting in 12v fuel system , some less % .
Its best for the money spent on the truck to gather info before doing , I've seen a post lately , where a guy put 100% bio in truck , then had towed to dealer , was told that his warrante was canceled & they would charge many thousands to get running , this is both ex streams bumping into each other , the dummy use 100% in a 07 & the dealer being a barn animal .
