Need Driver's Side Tailight

First post so sorry if it's in wrong place or formatted incorrectly.

Does anyone have a driver's side rear tailight for sale! Found some on ebay for 24. 00, not bad, but say they are for an '01. Not sure if connectors are different, or they just say that do to the body style change on the light duty trucks.



I was fortunate enough to have a city P&D driver clip the left rear corner of my truck today. Luckily, only 'small' 1-1 1/2 inch scratch with a busted tail light.



It is for a 2002 2500! No bombs yet, but you I'm getting the jitters since joining the board!

A tree limb hit mine and broke it. I had a body shop order me one and he had it the next day. I don't remember the price, but it was dirt cheap and he changed it in a couple of minutes.

I am not a parts guy, so I'm not sure, but I'd bet that the taillight for the '01 will fit your truck.



The 1500 series changed body styles in 2002, but the 2500 and 3500 didn't change until 2003, so the '01 taillight should fit an '01 2500 or 3500 truck.



When I needed one, I bought it at the dealer. You don't want to know what I had to pay.

Pep Boys has it or can get it for you - around $50

A local "auto recycler" has both left and right side lights. '94 thru '01. If what Loren said is true, then it should work. He quoted me $40. Call a stealer and see if they can confirm what Loren said.

I'll bet those clear tail lights and a few stickers will add 10 or 15 hp also.

WTH = other people questioning my degree of sanity.



Clear taillights : $180



Lots of stickers on truck : $20



Being convicted of "rice" in a 14 second, 7,500 pound truck : PRICELESS.
