Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) need fuel pressure kit, something thatworks

HAVE been trying to check fuel pressure for the last two weeks. ordered the kit from oregon fuel injection, don't use that kit, the double banjo bolt is to long and you will kill your pump.



so what kit works? I don't care about cost. just need something that will work and is complete.

I'm assuming that you have a 12 valve. Need a sig so we know what you have. If you want to install a fuel pressure gauge then tap the banjo bolt where the full line attaches to the side of the P7100 pump to 1/4" NPT. Then install a needle valve to deal with the pressure spikes and use a grease gun hose to the fuel pressure sensor. See my Reader's Rigs gallery for pics.

On mine i drilled and tapped the top of the fuel filter and screwed in hydraulic quick change connections. Now i can check fuel pressure before the filter and after the filter by simply connecting the gauge to the fittings... ... ... works for me. .
