Need Help BAD!

I have a 89 cummins non-intercooled and yesterday it snowed quite a bit and i have a really steep drive way. but anyways i was tryting to get up it in 4x4 of course and i got to the top and lost all powersteering completely. The pump was starting to go bad, it was leaking and would whine a little at times, so i thought thats what was wrong. But that wasnt.. i got the truck in my garage and started to take the vacuum pump and the whole assembly off and when i took it off the gear and shaft came off.. i thought this was not normal because i had read that you have to get them pulled off. so i got to looking more and the powersteering pump eccentric shaft was broke into the pump. so i guess when i was giving it a little hell it must have jerked and broke. I have searched and searched for just the shaft but cannot find one at all. the gear, bearing and everything else is still perfect just need the shaft and pump, which i can find at the autoparts store.. just cannot find the shaft, if anyone knows where i can get one, or has a used one that is in pretty good shape please let me know. I am in dear need of getting this truck back to working. and cannot afford a REAL expensive part.

Try these guys. If I understand your description correctly, you may need to buy a reman pump with new input shaft/gear already in it.

Alright. And yeah idk if they sell the gear driven ones. but ill look into it more. Mine is gear driven
