Archived Need help-Bent Two Rims and Blew 2 Tires Today

I live in Baltimore, Maryland. Tonight on my commute home with my son, we had to swerve to avoid a minivan that had encroached into our lane. In the aftermath of the near miss, we hit the curb and blew two tires and bent two steel rims. I am in need of at least one steel wheel now... the truck is sitting in an apartment complex parking lot and it will be towed if left overnight. I will need another rim soon, but for now one will help tremendously. Any help from anyone in the Baltimore area would be GREATLY APPRECIATED. Thanks.

Next time just hit the minivan..... would be his fault for lane encroachment/deviation and his insurance picks up the tab.



Would help out if I was close, but Im in WI. Anybody got a trailer if they dont have any spare wheels? Another idea would be to use spare tires to get home...

If you need new OEM steel wheels (takeoffs), I found "AAA rims" on the internet, and they sell them for $75. 00 ea. Hope this helps.

Problem Solved

Thanks everybody for your suggestions, the problem is solved. A BIG THANK YOU TO Partsman,my truck is back on the road. Oo. I will tell you that the people on this website are some of the most careing and downright nicest people you could ever meet. Not only were we able to get our truck back on the road; but we were able to make a new friend in the process. You can't beat that with a stick.
