Need Help - BRAKE ROTORS NUMBERS?

I have a 92 D250 and can not find the correct rotors. The ones that are on the truck now are shot.



I have new master cylinder and calipers, hoses and pads. I'm in desperate need of the correct number for the rotors. NAPA can't seem to get the correct rotor, they seem to come up with a single disc or rotors for a 94, studs are wrong, but as you know these rotors are one piece. I need high quality rotors and don't mind paying for the best.



For those that have changed out rotors can you supply me with some rotor numbers that are good. I don't care what brand, NAPA, Raybestos or Wagner or other as long as they are of high quality.



I just hope that I don't have to go to the dealer. Please help if you can and ASAP because this looks to be a project from you know where.

Front Brake Rotors

Jim I went with the OEM replacements part number 4428063 last time I needed to change mine. Many of the aftermarket brake rotors and drums are being made off shore and seem to be made of poor quality material, often having hard spots. As for having problems getting the correct part numbers, always tell them your truck is a diesel, many times there is a separate listing for our trucks and the parts a different from a D250 gasser. Also don't be afraid to ask the dealer's parts dept for trade price, you might be surprised at the difference.

Thanks for the replys. These rotors are indeed a 2 piece set up. My next door neighbor just got thru with a brake job on his 92 and explained what to do.



I'm picking up the correct rotor in a day or two from NAPA and will post the number along with what is involved if anyone is interested.
