I have two 4BT's for my Jeep projects, for operating the power brakes I am going to use an electric vacuum pump which are easily sourced from hotrodders catalogs.

You can buy an electric vacuum pump for a 99 powerstroke ford truck for less than the typical hot rodder pumps. I have used these pumps on numerous trucks in the past. They work well and are designed for constant use unlike most of the aftermarket pumps I've tried in the past. I have bought them through the dealer as well as wrecking yards to date, so I am not sure if they're available through parts stores like Napa, Car Quest etc.

I bought a new 3. 3 for my samurai some time ago. . I had to have the adaptor custom made to bolt up to a GM auto. Mine is the mechanical 85 hp motor. I plan on turning up the little pump and I've got a HY 35 off my 05 waiting. . I've got most all parts waiting for the build. Parts range from dana 44, ford 9 inch, 13 inches of lift, new 35'' baja claws, wheels, and a lot more accessories. My twins kit finally came in for my 95 dragtruck, and the shop that's doing the install has had it's hands full. . I'll submit pics and video when it's completed. .

3.3L Cummins

Hello

I got ahold of a 3. 3L Cummins off EBay, for a rebuild-able core value. It has a SAE #4 bellhouse and no flywheel. I had a dream that it was the same block as the 3. 9L,,,,, wrong@!!!!!!!!!

In my studies, I'm finding that the 80s IHC Scouts that used the SD33 Datsun diesel also had a SAE#4 bellhouse. . If I could find the clutch housing that bolted up to a Scout, 90% of my problems would be over. . When I email folks with Scout diesels web sites, they just vapor lock when I ask them about the " round bellhouse" and the distance between the center of the bolts across the face. . ((( SAE 4 = 15" )))) Also still looking for a flex plate or flywheel for the 3. 3L...

I also think the old flat head Fords in the late 30s to the late 40s also had a SAE #4 bellhouse. I plan on going to a "farmers" salvage yard today and see what he has in the pile. . I also found an outfit that makes SAE adapters to fit SAE bellhousings to mate with ford, chevy, mopar autos.
