Looking for someone with Dynojet knowledge.

Tried to run my truck yesterday to get some stock figures.

Operator was trying to use an optical senser off the crank, could not get it to

read correctly.

Question, Is there a tap on the harness to connect to the Tach or

a way to do that.

Would like to try it again today.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Scott

From what I've seen there isn't a plug in to get a tach signal. The optical device is the best way to get your tach reading. A piece of the proper tape on the harmonic balancer and then position the pickup so it will read the tape and provide a rpm signal.

You can still get a horsepower figure even without the tach signal.

we used the optical sensor on my truck today. A piece of reflective tape was put on the harmonic balancer, and the sensor was clamped to the bottom of the fan shroud.
