Need Help Fast!

I re-timed my truck today after I fixed it back from the dowel pin falling out and busting my cover. I timed it correctly(I rechecked it 4 times). It's getting fuel at the injectors. It's getting air. It WILL NOT start. What's wrong with it?

Is it 180 out? At TDC both valves on #1 should be loose and both valves on #6 should be tight.

I tend to agree with Joe on this one.



Did you reconnect engine speed sensor. This connector is known to make engines stall maybe it can keep them from firing up.



Also a Dodge Diesel owner was having trouble with his truck starting in the midwest. He had a fuel at one injector (that is all he checked) and getting air.

Turned out to be fuel shut off solenoid was not moving all the way up at start. He pushed it up and it started no mor problems as of yet.



Just a few things to check out if the 180 isn't the cure.
