Hey guys,

Well I will be off of deployment soon and I can't find a shop that is a DTT authorized installer or knows how to work on them. I live in the San Diego area and would like to find something as close as possible but if I have to drive some where I would like some thing closer than going to Canada. What can I say I want to spend my time off with family not trying to get my truck fixed. Any suggestions? Thanks guys!

Look at DTT's website for contact info and call Bill Kondolay, owner, or his son, Stefan. Ask them for a DTT authorized builder.

CCamillo,

Good luck, I've been looking for years. There is no one in Southern California. I've spoken to the Kondolays many times about this. I think you are SOL. If you do happen to find someone, please let me know.

I used Fred Swanson in Waddell,AZ. It's near Phoenix. He does good work. Brown's Diesel in Riverdale,Ca does Goerand installs. Another option is Inglewood Trans in Orange County. Fred is 5. 5 hrs from here. Zero traffic but a very boring drive.

Fred Swanson

I have also used Fred Swanson for 2 builds. Heck of a nice guy and competent. .

Is he still doing these?

My boy worked in Santa Clarita(So. Cal) for a trans shop and we bought a wrecked 2000 with a DTT trans. and he said he would install it and be coached from the DTT people and DTT are happy with that situation. BUT we have not found the time to get to the job. We thought we would change out the trans our self and tow it to the shop for the final wiring, the box etc. see what happens. ED

Hey guys

Just wanted you to know I went and saw Fred out in Waddell,AZ. Your right heck of a nice guy and fix my truck with no issuse. He said it was a sticky valve but didn't say wich one. Truck runs great now finally get to enjoy the DTT transmission. Thanks for all the help now and over the years. God bless you all!

Chris
