In process of mounting a fuel pump on the frame rail. The wire to power it is in the This terminal measures roughly .27mm x 2.7mm and accepts a male spade measuring 2.5mm-2.8mm. existing fuel tank harness connector but I need to run a wire to meet up with it at the connector under the cab, rear of front left fender. The opposing cavity is blank. I have to believe this has been done before. I'm having trouble properly identifying the electrical terminal needed. Online search lead me to a locked, 9 year old thread here that mentions the connector under the cab. I need the female terminal as pictured. The rest I think I have covered, Thanks, Tim

Making some progress. Putting the lift pump relay into a vacant spot in the PDC. It's kinda cheezy but I have a fuse cobbled into the PDC to power the relay. If i can't find a terminal for the original connector under the cab, rear of front left fender, I'll pull the wire out and do a Duetsch connector.

I looked it up in the FSM yesterday when you posted this, they show the 3 or 4 different mfg of connetors, show all the pin tools, but nothing on the physical pins. Did not find any thing of value, alot of times using new weather pak is just alot easier if its new wiring.

Can try these links:
http://connectors.dcctools.com/home.htm

https://www.mouser.com/Connectors/Automotive-Connectors/_/N-1ehb5

I get a lot of pins and the sort from Mouser.

I think its a good idea what you are trying for sure. I hate all the dead posts when there is no answer..... run into that. So if you figure it out dont forget to update.

Timd32, thanks for the encouragement and links. I checked them out. The connector link doesn't have a drawing to refer to for identification. The connector I need the terminal for is an "8 way". I'm not sure which one it is at that site. FWIW, I've checked my 1997 FSM and it identifies the connector a C128. No guarantees on the accuracy of that information. The manual is for 1997, my truck is 1998.5.
The other link has 4562 different terminals to look at. I looked at them all. If they offer it, I didn't see it.
I ended up pulling the terminal out of the connector and making up Duesch connectors.
The truck is up and running. here's a pic of the setup. Factory style quick disconnects to a 20 micron fuel/water separator. A short section of hard line to a hose mounted squeze bulb primer that is connected with factory style quick disconnects. Then a fuel lift pump on the frame rail. Banjo fitting on the outlet to hose that quick disconnects to the original fuel line inside the frame rail. I left the electric fuel lift pump mounted in in the original location on the engine. The truck now has 2 electric fuel lift pumps and a spare under the seat. When one craps, it will be a 20 minute fix.
I haven't hung out on the truck forums but I'm suspect you guys have seen this kinda stuff all the time, no big deal.

FWIW, I have run the truck enough to determine this project a success. I hauled a load of engines 250 miles today. I'm guessing the trailer and load to total about 15,000lbs. It seemed to average fuel pressure about 15psi. Stock, fuel pressure would average under 5psi while towing 7000lbs.
