Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Need Help Finding Part

I have a 98 12v 3/4 ton pu all original. Replaced overflow valve last June to try and correct a ticking noise on the driver side at the rear of the motor,it didn't work. Now I think it is going to be my lift pump, Question is Where can I find this part? How much ? Does anyone know what this Part number will be so that I will be able to ask for the correct part. I hear the best place to buy this will be from piers diesel? I used to have thier website saved but last time I tried to pull it up it said it was an invalid website. Don't know if they changed website or if I have the wrong site. Please help, Thanks in advance. I'm in Texas so if there is another place to get this part that is closer I'm all for it as long as the price is somewhat close to that of piers.

Not to poop on Signal73's parade, but mine has ticked for the last 40k miles, and still runs strong. I have almost 180k on the original.

I wouldnt worry about the ticking noise, probably just the check valves making a little noise. From what I`ve heard a lift pump changeout is a muther-youknowwhat. If it aint broke, dont fix it.

No doubt tpod mine ticked as well. just the return line pulsating when the overflow valve pops open.
