Attention: TDR Forum Junkies A friend of mine has a 2006, 3500,4wd, auto,CTD. With a load on or behind it the engine will rev almost to red line before it will move, ,and then it just barely crawls ,still at red line till it gains enough momentum to go on
. The other day he was pulling out of a nearly level field and had to put it in 4L just to get out into the road..... won't even spin. another time he was dumping a load of dirt (after market flat dump conv. ) and was stopped by rock smaller than a beer can, engine reving and no spinning. He has been to dealer twice with no result, problem doesn't occur empty. What do you guys think? Torque Converter?
