Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) need help from member around Lexington KY. ?'s about a dealer

If there are any members around Lexington that might know about a dealer in nearby Frankfort, the name in the Kentucky trucktrader is listed as Larry Stigers Jr. (502) 875-4050, I called and they are a used truck dealer with about 200 trucks, he has about 35 Dodge CTD trucks in the trader now. What I want to know is he reputable or if someone lives close by could they look at a truck for me, before I drive up from Birmingham. Hate to waste this weekend driving 900 miles on a wild goose chase. They have a 98 3500 4x4 with some mods. maybe someone may even know of the truck, its blue with guages and a exhaust brake, 5spd. Thanks for any help!

I live in London, KY and my cousin just bought a 2001 Dodge 3500 from Stigers in the spring. Stigers said everything was fine on the truck when they sold it and they lied big time. The trans case was cracked and leaking, the transfer case adapter was cracked and leaking, and the transfer case was in the same shape. If you look at one of their trucks, go over it with a fine tooth comb because they won't tell you all the problems.
