I need help bad I have a fuel leak on the driver side of my engine and I cant find it. I think it is the rubber lines but I dont know where they are at and I have never changed any of them before.

REFLOYD,

There is a rubber fuel line from the fuel rail (low pressure) that is a known problem with the CTD after years of use. Simple fix, replace the line held on with two ordinary clamps and you are back on the road. You might get a bit dirty and a lift makes the job easier, but you can perform this task in your driveway. Have fun

What JPunda said! If the lines haven't been changed you are past due for the process. You'll stretch and strain and bang up your skin, but it isn't a complicated job.

By the way, the job goes better when the starter is off.

The return fuel line (metal/rubber) is located under neath the intake manifold and behind fuel filter and connects to metal at trans bell housing or frame.

Supply line connects to metal line behind and to the back of the fuel filter. It also has a connection at trans bell housing or frame.

It would be a good time for filter change as the fuel filter will have to come off to access the rubber to metal line connection.

Good Luck

what size line and how much do I need?

Also is there anyone near albany, GA that can give me a hand with it tomorrow afternoon?

And as for it being a good time to change the filter I did that about a month ago.
