Eight hours have passed since your post so you've probably found a solution by now. Many auto parts stores and most Dodge dealers will deliver. Wouldn't hurt to call and ask a few if you're willing to buy a quantity of filters.

Several years ago when I was transporting I had an APPS failure along I-5 north of Seattle. I limped along in third gear at idle until I reached an exit and pulled into an abandoned gas station. I called information for the nearest Dodge dealer and called the dealer. They would deliver so I bought an APPS with my credit card and within a 1/2 hour their parts driver brought me the APPS. Installed it and fifteen minutes later I was on my way again.

Well Harvey I am trying atleast I have a 40 ft trailer behind me so I am trying to contact somebody that can help me get to part's because it's Kinda hard to push a 13,000 lb trailer

Yep bought 560. 00 worth of fuel in Yuma At a well used station it was 3. 59 a gal now I'm Paying for it the hartd way Already changed 1 filter yesterday and will be carring a spare withme also today I guess we Live n Learn ? sometimes the Hard way

Just curious - was the delivery tanker still there when you filled up in Yuma? If he was still dumping into the tank he could have been stirring up the crap on the bottom of the tank. If I see a delivery tanker at the station I stay away. Simplysmn, I know this is no help to you now but something to watch for.

I would try putting diesel fuel conditioner/additive in the fuel it should help unless the load of fuel had trash, algae or bacteria in it.

( Many years ago my brother and I started on a trip in 71 Toyota, we got about 40 miles from home and the Toy started to run like crud. Stop at service center on turnpike. The mechanic suggested putting a can of fuel treatment and more gas. He was sure we got a bad tank of fuel. About 40 mile down the road from the service center the Toy started to run like it used too. )

If you haven't found a filter source yet, try a NAPA in the area you are at. As Harvey said, they will likely deliver to you if you can't make it to them considering the situation. I also agree with the suggestion of a heavy dose of fuel additive. It is certainly not going to hurt anything to try.

Having just gone through a bad contaminated fuel issue myself, I certainly understand your situation. Have you cut open your plugged filter to see what you got for your $500+ fuel purchase? I'm guessing sand/gravel like I got a few months back. This fuel contamination issue is ridiculous at this point. You would think that there would be at least a little quality control for what we have to pay for the stuff.

Well good new's I reset codes second time and Never let the truck get to a 1/4 tank and it ran Awesome Yes I got Napa to deliver but I don't believe they sold me the right filter it look's ok but different design but I haven't had to use it so we will see on trip back we leave upper Washing St at 7-30-8 am and go from there

Thank you too All that have offer Advise

Well happy to say after changing fuel filter again and then Not letting truck get below a 1/4 tank it ran all the way up Hwy 97 into Washington St. and back we left redding this AM and got home to Apple Valley before 7 pm so not bad with a 40 ft trailer behind me .

I still have Issues but now that I'm home I will dig into it more . Thank you to Both of the gentlemen I contacted off the Travel companion the Advise was very helpful .

What station in Yuma did you fill up at? I was there at the end of April and filled up on hwy 95 a couple miles north of I-8. Just want to know who to avoid.

All I remember is that it is a AM PM right next to a carl's JR really close to freeway I figured at 3. 59 I might as well fill up so after 560. 00 in fuel an my big tank almost full along with my 55 gal extra tank we left Ran beautiful till Modesto then All hell Broke Loose

Thanks, good to know, that's on the south side of I-8 on the 95. Are you going to see about getting them to pay for the damages?

So far it's just gotten to the filter and has cost me a few changes so Right now I am just going to clean everything out n go from there .
