I am hoping that someone can tell me where to begin to look to find the problem with the AC not blowing cold enough on my 2005 Jeep Liberty CRD even though the low pressure side charge is within specs (based on hooking up an R134a charge cylinder with gauge to it) and the AC compressor seems to be properly cycling (based on the audible nosies I can hear and the psi gauge on the charge until fluctuating from normal to high pressure) while the AC is on blasting on high/recirc with the doors open and the Jeep in the shade.

The ONLY thing wrong that I have seen is a random failure of the AAT sensor that shows actual outside temp on the overhead console, but I have no idea if that could be the cause.

TIA for any help or even any explanations that MIGHT help !!!

Can't say if this is the problem, but my 2014 Wrangler JK doesn't like the high end of the normal range... no more than 75% of normal scale or range on mine. Not sure if this helps, but that's my experience with servicing my own Jeep AC.

Are your blend doors cycling properly? I know that vacuum servo hoses may have leaks or collapsing. Control servo may not be supplying enough vacuum to pull doors to desired positions. Confirm that they are working correctly. Pressure depends upon outside temps. You can google a chart for specs. A pocket thermometer also helps with AC issues. That way you know what temps are coming out of the vents. You should get somewhere between 40 - 50 degree air on center vents with re-circulation selected and fan on high. Good luck.

Low pressure range ?

No, not low pressure range... within the Normal Pressure Range, I'm saying on my Jeep, the middle to 3/4 of the green range is where mine is happy. Initially, I tried to top it off in the green range, which it did not like, so had to bleed some off. Not saying you don't have a problem, but sharing my experience with my own maintenance experience.
