It generally takes a business to have a lift, trans jack, air tools, etc. and their overhead won't let them work that cheap and also do a good job. I have seen too many cases where the shop cut corners to speed up the process and the clutch had issues.

Found a shop here in town that will do it for 330. 00 , says 5 1/2 hrs. at 60. 00 hr. , Now that's reasonable, not trying to rip you off like some . , Dodge house wanted 90. 00 hr. i have over 124,000 on it now

Have the trans inspected before you have it installed or your going to think they did something wrong, ITS GOING TO MAKE NOISE.

A gallon of Delvac 50 and three qts of 5-30 synthetic syncromesh, kills 85% of the noise aside from poking through parking lots. Stretch those shifts out too.

In my shop waiting for the new clutch to be put in, i bought all this stuff last year in anticipation of changing everything at the same time, I bought 2 gal. of Delvac 50 wt. , then i read all the posts on here and then bought the 3 qts. of 5-30 syncromesh synthetic oil, Thanks for the heads up, Monte

Got it out today and the transmission sounds the same as it did with the dual mass, No noise, clutch is a lot stiffer and engages quicker, but it is there and holds the power planted to it, i"m pleased,Monte
