Archived need help removeing the top dash cover

I have a 2003 ram and the a/c is working but air is barley comming out of the vents. Mech. said that the door that controls the flow is stuck or broke. and wanted 500 to just remove teh dash itself. Any one please help. thanks Cliff

I had a similar problem with my 97. South County Chrysler did the job for $142. 00. They removed the windshield then the top of the dash. Took less than 2 hrs. Another dealer wanted over $500 since the dash had to be removed. Just a tought on another way to 'git 'r done'
