Looking to install a Walbro lift pump. I think I have the plumbing stuff figured out, and I know I need to run the pump from a relay. Having trouble figuring out where to tap into the present lift pump relay (been looking at fuse box, etc. , doesn't seem to be labeled) or wire to switch the new relay. Any help appreciated.

At the top of the page Select "Discussion Forums" then User control panel and then Signature and fill out the info on your truck so we know what year of truck you are trying to do this on.

Good luck with your work

Thanks for the heads up. I was wondering where to edit my signature and forgot about it when thinking about starting the thread.

Hi Dave, it was great talking with you on the phone today. I hope my email with FASS part numbers will be helpful.

For the benefit of others viewing this thread, for my custom Walbro installation I purchased a relay with wiring harness from Rip Rook that is actually part of the FASS-II pump line. The part is called the Electrical Harness with relay, part number WH-1002. I don't know if Rip is still selling these, but his email back in 2006 was rip@sourceautomotive. biz. He also sold me the Filter Plate which replaces the stock lift pump on the filter base and allows you to hook up a rubber fuel line instead. That was part number FP-1001. Pictures and info of my installation are available in my Old Reader's Rigs Gallery.

Hope this helps, and let me know if you have any other questions Dave.
