Just foolin' around yesterday, and ran the gauge check/code display on my truck. Everything checks out fine, but then after the "C" Code instead of 00 00 , I see A4 17. According to my service manual, the "17" portion means 17 warm up cycles since the code. However, on the chart for the codes, there is no A4. There is an A1 A3 A5 A7,8,9, but NO A4. Any ideas as to what this code means?

Not sure, but I tried it tonight and I got

C Codes

AA 50

AC 50

AE 50

AF 50

I repeated it and the numbers all went to 51, then the next time 52, etc.

Are the C codes accessed by holding the trip meter button while cycling the key? Thought I read that somewhere but not sure.

Hammer time,

The number is number of key cycles since code.

Heres a clip from the manual.

Any more info on these codes? Just got 25 06 on dad's '03. His blinkers are fubar'd and I'm wondering if the code means anything.

EDIT: this must be the time of year for checking clusters...
