Does anybody with a 12v want on board air? I talked with Brad at On Board Air in Burbank California today about getting the York air compressor for the 12v like the 24v and soon the 03 and up cummins. (he is working on the 03 as I write) He said that all he needs is to have someone who is willing to bring in their truck(a 12valve) for a couple of days so he can lay out how the mounting bracket will hook to the engine. I know it's a lot to ask but, would someone be willing to front their rig for the TDR folks to get this air compressor setup made?? He also stated that if someone was willing, to give him(Brad) a call at 818-848-2900 to set it up.

Thanks to any and all.

WD, I sure hope someone belly's up to the opportunity. I'm betting it happens.

Just curious, did Brad give any hints on cost?

Thanks, Ronnie

I'll send out an Email to the local guys on my mailing list about this, maybe one of them will jump in on it. I sold my 96 or I might have considered.

You know Moparguy, I didn't even think to ask. He mentioned in passing that the bracket for the 24v is about 100. 00. I'll check on their web site about the price. What bites is that the 3rd gen trucks will have the setup before the 12valves. I'm going to Palm Desert at the end of Feb to watch some tennis and I asked the wife if she would mind of we drove out so Brad could us my truck. She said Nada, nope, no way, uh uh, nine, nyet, do you want a lump or two? She's subtle like that, so I'm thinking that she might not want to. Oh well, maybe next time.

Dkevdog,

Brad said he would only need it for 2 days, 3 max for figuring it out.

Only 2 guys interested in an engine driven air compressor for the 12 valve. I figured that there would be more. Oh well.

I would like to mount a york on my 12er. I think I am going to use onboardair's double pulley to drive the compressor, and make my own mounting bracket. Unfortunately the compressor is about 4th on the list of projects I want to do, so it will be a while. For anyone interested, I have a few of used York 210s in great shape. PM me for details.

Some of us are interested, but live in Mississippi and are not interested in driving to the left coast.

Mark,

I am interested in the compressors you have. I sent you a PM, but if you don't get it for whatever reason please drop me an email.

Thanks,

Mike
