Truck 911,
Truck will start and run for a minute then quit. Will start right back up. It will crank But won't start until wait light goes out. I have done alot of research and read quite a few articles. I have a Dodge 99 2500 5.9L Cummins auto 4x4 that has the dead pedal problem initially, Replaced TPS, but failed self test. I have a gauge from the fuel filter canister (oem) reading 15 psi during idle. The truck has been sitting while I determine what to do next. I have checked the electrical connections above the Engine Intake, clean. I can't afford to get a VP44 at this time. Could it be my ECM ? I have checked prices on rebuilding it, but would want to know if it's messed up or not. Most rebuild shops won't tell you anything about it (my experience). I have tried to access the system with a scanner but wasn't successful. I'm looking for a reputable shop to work with in my area but can't find much.
Would appreciate any input.
Thanks, Patrick
