Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Need help with transmission problem

Ok guys. I have 77,000 on my 24 valve and the transmission is starting to act up. In overdrive, it cycles back and forth using slight pressure on the pedal usually from 46mph to 55. I understand the whole under 50 cycling and it has been there when I first drove it but know it has increased to higher speeds and is very noticeable. I have never taken it to the dealer and I am a little leary. Any ideas on the problem?



While I'm at the stealers I want them to check the steering box and and the lift pump... is there anything else I should have them check?

PS All I have on it for mods is the plug-n-play.

PSS The transmission flash was done before I bought it!

Mine cycled too but I ingnored it long enough and it went away. It looks like it had the problem before I bought it. I see the recall 799 on my sticker.



Make sure they test the fuel pressure under load. Someone just had theres done and they tested it in neutral. Neutral does not give the correct reading. At 70k I bet its due.
